About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Content Writer with deep knowledge of the recruitment sector to support our marketing team on a part-time contract basis. This is a senior, specialist role requiring a strategic, high-calibre content professional who can produce compelling, authoritative, and commercially focused content with minimal supervision. You will play a key role in shaping our brand narrative, elevating our thought leadership, and ensuring consistency across all written content. You will work closely with the Global Content Manager and key internal stakeholders, contributing not just as a writer but as a content expert who brings insight, creativity, and sector understanding to every project.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Content Development
- Create high-quality, senior-level content aligned with the company’s marketing strategy and brand positioning
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for content themes, campaigns, and thought leadership angles
- Ensure all content reflects industry trends, challenges, and insights within the recruitment sector
- Produce polished long-form content including thought leadership articles, industry insights, whitepapers, guides, reports, blogs, and feature content
- Develop high-impact short-form content including LinkedIn posts, email marketing content, and campaign copy
- Write and refine website content, event-related content, and case studies
- Upload and format content on the company website via the CMS where required
- Work closely with the marketing team to align content with wider campaigns and objectives
- Adapt tone of voice for different audiences including recruitment professionals, business leaders, and HR teams
- Review and refine content to maintain high editorial standards
Extensive experience as a Content Writer, Senior Copywriter, or similar role
In-depth knowledge of the recruitment sector
Strong experience writing for B2B audiences
Experience in the marketing recruitment sector, specifically Go-To-Market
Ability to write with authority, insight, and commercial awareness
Exceptional written English and editorial skills
Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Experience collaborating with marketing teams and senior stakeholders
Experience using Website CMS platforms
Strong understanding of SEO and content optimisation
Experience writing for professional audiences
Previous experience working with recruitment agencies or talent businesses
Familiarity with content strategy and campaign planning
