I am excited to be partnering with a leading fitness brand with over 250 gyms across the UK, they are passionate about making fitness accessible to everyone! Due to growth, the brand is hiring a Head of Performance Marketing/Lead to join their Digital Trading Leadership Team, reporting to the Digital Director.
As part of the leadership team, you will lead the paid media strategy across a wide mix of digital & offline channels — from PPC, paid social, YouTube, affiliates, to OOH, radio, VOD, CTV, & TV. You will have a team of 2 people for now as well as media agencies to manage (across affiliates, media, measurement, networks & martech), and together you will oversee end-to-end campaign planning, briefing, execution and optimisation.
You will work closely with teams across creative, brand, comms, pricing, eCommerce, social, & CRM to ensure campaigns are impactful, cohesive, & commercially effective — driving member acquisition & maximising media.
Ideal Candidate Experience:
- A strong background in acquisition media & performance marketing within fast-paced, commercial D2C ecommerce businesses, with a strong trading mindset & proven track record of hitting weekly/monthly targets.
- Deep understanding of subscription ecommerce trading levers & metrics including traffic, conversion, AOV, CPA, ROAS, ROI, LTV, churn, & product mix.
- Data-fluent & highly analytical, with expertise in attribution, measurement, media mix modelling, & incrementality testing.
- Hands-on channel expertise across paid search (Google/Bing), programmatic, paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snap), & affiliates, with experience launching new channels.
- Knowledge or experience in channels such as: OOH, radio, VOD, CTV, & TV.
- Experienced in partnering with creative teams to produce high-performing, channel-specific creative, implementing approaches to drive continual learning.
- Strategic & entrepreneurial thinker with a proactive mindset.
- Line management experience of digital specialists & a successful track record managing large agencies.
