We are working with a fast-growth DTC sports brand in Essex to help them hire for a newly created role on their team, a Head of Ecommerce . The brand has experienced rapid growth over the last 2 years and there is a strong DTC push with over 40% of their overall sales being through Amazon & via their website.

As Head of Ecommerce, you will spearhead their global DTC strategy across 4 major markets – UK, Germany, Japan & US, taking the brand to the next level. There will be a focus on strategic leadership, enhancing the customer journey & user experience as well as introducing loyalty/subscription programmes.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and define the global digital strategy to accelerate growth, championing a seamless and engaging customer journey across all platforms.
• Build, develop, and grow a high-performing team
• Oversee a robust programme of UX enhancements and A/B testing to continuously optimise site performance.
• Drive SEO performance with technical enhancements and strategic content initiatives to maximise traffic and conversions.
• Boost customer lifetime value (LTV) through innovative loyalty programs, subscriptions, and personalised experiences.
• Own the commercial performance of all websites, leading campaigns and promotions that captivate and convert.
• Analyse data and uncover growth opportunities , translating insights into clear, actionable strategies.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Design, Operations, and Finance to elevate the digital experience.

What You’ll Bring:

• 5+ years experience working in an Ecommerce role
• Experience working in a high-growth DTC scale up
• A strategic mindset with a hands-on approach
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and growing teams
• Experience managing multi-territory websites; familiarity with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce is a plus
• Track record in managing global or localised sites e.g German, US, Japan
• A passion for sports or competitive products is a bonus!
