A category-defining travel technology business at a pivotal inflexion point. After seven years building deep into the stack, they've created an unparalleled travel intelligence and data platform that powers partnerships with some of the world's largest players, including some of the largest travel companies globally and the largest rideshare business on the planet. This Series B two-sided marketplace is only scratching the surface of what their platform can do and what their mobile app can do in a D2C environment.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Founder, you'll step in as Fractional CPO to provide strategic leadership during a critical growth phase. This isn't a caretaker role; you'll take the reins on product strategy, drive rigorous thinking, and set the business up for its next chapter.
Your mandate:
- Own the product strategy, define the path forward for both the consumer app and the rapidly scaling enterprise/B2B platform.
- Drive strategic hygiene, stop the team jumping to solutions.
- Establish frameworks for defining problems properly, prioritising ruthlessly, and making better decisions faster.
- Unlock the data platform. This business sits on an extraordinary data asset. You'll shape how to bring this platform to life as a cohesive product, not just modular pieces bolted together. Data monetisation is a core strategic lever.
- Lead and elevate the team, run product reviews, challenge the Head of Product and Head of Design effectively, give the team confidence, and motivate people around a clear strategy.
- The product org includes 2 PMs, a Head of Design (managing 2 designers), and a customer support function.
- Be the external face. Stand in front of enterprise clients and partners. Hold the weight in the room with some of the most famous platforms in the world.
You must have:
- Two-sided marketplace or world-class mobile-first experience. You understand the complexity of platforms with supply and demand dynamics, or you've built exceptional consumer mobile products at scale.
- Data-rich business background. You've worked somewhere where the data was the product or a core value driver. This does not mean we are looking for corporate or enterprise business experience.
- Startup and scale-up DNA. You've operated in high-growth environments with ambiguity, pace, and founder proximity.
- D2C experience at some point in your career is a must-have.
- Strategic and hands-on. Comfortable setting direction and getting into the details. Ideally someone who's on the tools—curious about agentic processes, automation, and where product is heading.
Not a fit: Big corporate, legacy tech, or slow-moving organisations.
Why This Role
- Work directly with the Founder. High trust, high autonomy, real influence.
- Category-changing moment. Huge demand, landmark partnerships, and a platform that's finally ready to flex.
- Shape something meaningful. Define both the consumer experience and the enterprise strategy at a business with genuine competitive moats.
