A profitable, founder-led global ecommerce group is hiring a Video Lead to lead and scale its post-production engine across multiple international brands. Operating at 8–9 figure revenue scale across the US, UK, Europe and APAC, this business produces high volumes of direct-response video creative daily. This role is not just about editing - it’s about building the systems, infrastructure and team that power a world-class performance video machine. What They Need
- Someone who has built and led high-output post-production teams - hiring, mentoring and performance-managing editors in a fast-moving D2C or performance marketing environment.
- A systems-minded operator who can design scalable workflows, asset management structures, naming conventions, review systems and editing SOPs across Meta, TikTok, YouTube and beyond.
- A performance-aware creative leader who understands that pacing, hooks, shot selection and CTAs directly impact ROAS, CTR and watch time, and who can train a team accordingly.
- Someone confident directing and refining both long-form (VSL) and short-form content, including influencer, UGC, testimonial and paid social ads.
- A hands-on editorial expert who remains close enough to the tools to lead by example, refine cuts and elevate the creative bar across all output.
- A collaborative partner comfortable working cross-functionally with teams across multiple time zones.
What You’re Great At
- Expert-level Adobe Premiere with strong After Effects capability; comfortable operating within structured review environments (e.g. Frame-based systems, shared drives, centralised libraries).
- Turning performance data and A/B test results into improved editing decisions and scalable winning formats.
- Designing repeatable “winning ad” frameworks and increasing version count and concept diversity across campaigns.
- Coaching editors in platform-native editing styles, hooks, pacing psychology and emerging social storytelling formats.
- Managing compliance-sensitive content while balancing speed, volume and creative quality.
- Building centralised digital asset libraries with structured metadata tagging for rapid reuse and iteration.
