A leading major construction and infrastructure contractor are looking to appoint an experienced Bidding Manager and Bid Writer due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful business development and bid team, managing the end-to-end tender process across major construction and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.

Hybrid working; 4 days in the office 1 day from home based in Central London.

Reporting to the Bid Director, coordinate and manage the full end-to-end bid process to deliver high-quality and competitive tender submissions:

  • Develop win strategies through research, tender analysis, workshops and stakeholder collaboration
  • Produce tender programmes, bid plans, key messaging and storyboard content
  • Write, review and edit compelling, client-focused responses for PQQs, ITTs and tender submissions
  • Translate technical information into clear, engaging content tailored to the client
  • Maintain and develop bid content including case studies, CVs and project sheets
  • Ensure all documentation is professionally formatted and aligned with brand guidelines
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders (estimators, planners, design managers, commercial teams and directors) to gather technical input

5 years’ + experience in bid writing within the construction sector:

  • Strong experience preparing and submitting high-quality tender responses
  • Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience working with internal stakeholders to develop technical content
