A leading major construction and infrastructure contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Bid Writer due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming work. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly successful business development and bid team, managing the end-to-end tender process across major construction and infrastructure projects throughout the UK.
Hybrid working; 4 days in the office 1 day from home based in Central London.
Responsibilities include:
- Write, review and edit compelling, client-focused responses for PQQs, ITTs and tender submissions
- Translate technical information into clear, engaging content tailored to the client
- Maintain and develop bid content including case studies, CVs and project sheets
- Ensure all documentation is professionally formatted and aligned with brand guidelines
- Liaise with internal stakeholders (estimators, planners, design managers, commercial teams and directors) to gather technical input
Requirements:
- 5 years’ + experience in bid writing within the construction sector
- Strong experience preparing and submitting high-quality tender responses
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Experience working with internal stakeholders to develop technical content
