Due to their continued growth, they are looking for three experienced Bid Managers to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a key player in securing new projects and contributing to the continued success of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end bid process for a variety of construction projects.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and senior leadership to gather the necessary information for bid submissions.
- Create and submit high-quality, tailored proposals that address client needs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and competitiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to understand project requirements and anticipate opportunities.
- Coordinate and manage all internal resources involved in the bid process to meet deadlines and ensure quality control.
- Analyse and assess bid opportunities, advising leadership on the potential risks and rewards of each project.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions of the contract, ensuring alignment with company policies.
- Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to help shape bid strategies.
- Collaborate with marketing and design teams to enhance proposal presentation and content.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager in the construction industry (minimum of 3-5 years).
- Strong understanding of the construction bidding process, including RFPs (Requests for Proposals) and tender submissions.
- Strong project management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple bids simultaneously.
- Proficient in bid management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
