They will give you an opportunity to work on bids in the sector across the UK, in 4 of their locations. They are now on the lookout for an immediately available Bid Manager to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract.
Role Overview:
As our Bid Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality bids for architecture projects. Working closely with senior management, project leads, and other key stakeholders, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the end-to-end bid process. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to contribute to the continued growth and success of a business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the preparation and submission of bids for architecture projects from start to finish.
- Develop compelling, clear, and tailored content for bid submissions, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (design, project management, technical experts) to gather the necessary information and ensure timely delivery of bid documents.
- Coordinate and manage the submission process, ensuring all deadlines are met and that the highest standard of quality is maintained.
- Review and analyze tender documents, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and requirements to inform the bid strategy.
- Track and monitor bid progress, making sure that all necessary resources are allocated and that internal stakeholders are updated.
- Ensure that all submissions are fully compliant with the client’s specifications and best practices.
- Provide post-bid support, including gathering feedback and analyzing outcomes for continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Bid Manager, ideally within the architecture, design, or construction sectors.
- Strong ability to write clear, concise, and persuasive bid content.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously.
- Good understanding of the architecture and construction industry, particularly in relation to tender processes.
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
