We are looking for a Risk Analyst who can operate at the intersection of counterparty credit risk, liquidity risk and market risk, ensuring that exposures are measured and controlled. Your role will be to help us create a risk infrastructure to allow our clients to use FX forwards to lock in a rate for a contract that they need to deliver at a later date.

What you will be doing
- Helping to develop and maintain internal credit rating models.
- Assessing counterparty creditworthiness for corporates and SMEs.
- Conducting financial statement analysis and risk scoring.
- Setting and reviewing counterparty credit limits.
- Recommending collateral thresholds and margin requirements.
- Monitoring and measuring exposure on FX forward portfolios (current exposure, PFE, EAD).
- Checking volatility due to FX rate movements by mark-to-market (MTM) valuation of forward positions.
- Limiting breach review and management.
- Producing daily and monthly exposure reports.
- Escalating and managing concentration risks.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
- Developing dashboards for exposure tracking and early warning indicators.
About you, you have
- A minimum of 5 years in credit risk, counterparty risk and/or market risk; ideally with recognised qualifications in risk management.
- Experience with FX Forward or Swaps products with a strong understanding of FX Forwards and counterparty exposure metrics (PFE, EAD, EL, etc).
- Effective communication with trading, treasury, product teams and Risk teams.
- Experience with risk systems.
- Fully proficient in Excel & Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements.
- Ability to operate in a fast-scaling fintech environment.
