What you’ll be doing
FX Execution
- Overseeingand leading day-to-dayFXtradeexecutionwithinasmall focusedteam of traders.
- As required provide back up for trade and execution of FX spots and FX forwards trades.
- Support and control end of day FX trades reconciliations process
- Deliveringbestexecutionacrossplatformsandcounterparties,inlinewithregulatoryandinternalstandards.
- Managingrelationshipswithliquidityproviderstoensurecompetitivepricingandreliableaccess.
- PartneringwithinternalITteamstosupportautomationandtherolloutofnewFXproducts.
- Beingcomfortabletocreate,manage,andperiodicallyadjustthedesk’sproceduresandmanuals.
People Management and Leadership
- Setclearobjectives,performancemetrics,andaccountabilitystandardsforteammembers
- Actasanescalationpointforthedeskstaffonorganisationalissues,operationalchallenges,andexecutionrisks
About you, you have
- 7+years’experienceinFXexecutionideallywithinanEMI,fintech,orfinancialinstitution.
- DeepunderstandingofFXmarkets,tradeexecutionmechanicsforspotandforwardcontracts,andliquidityriskframeworks.
- WorkingknowledgeofFCAregulatoryobligations,includingsafeguardingandbestexecutionstandards.
- Aprovenabilitytomanageandgrowrelationshipswithbanks,PSPs,andliquidityproviders.
- Stronganalyticalmindsetwithprecisioninproblem-solvinganddecision-making.
