We are recruiting two LGV 1 Night Drivers for our client based in Birmingham. Start times are generally between 22:00. The route is set to an RDC in Edinburgh, then back to the depot, with drivers pulling over for their daily rest. After rest, drivers return to the depot to start the next shift. Good working conditions and vehicles are provided, with minimal handball involved (defined as cages or operating an electronic pallet truck). Weekend work is available at a higher pay rate.
Requirements for the LGV 1 Night Drivers include:
- A valid Class 1 Licence (held for at least 2 years)
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC card
We offer payment options as PAYE or Self-Employed (if you have a Limited Company and pass a Status Determination Statement questionnaire). Higher pay rates are available for weekend shifts.
