Working with a leading tooling specialist, our client manufactures and supplies a range of industries including Automotive, Aerospace, and General Engineering with precision cutting tools. This is a field/office based position covering the Midland region.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers within an agreed region.
- Conduct site visits, technical consultations, and presentations to understand customer requirements and propose solutions.
- Prepare and deliver detailed new quotations proposals.
- Build and develop new business opportunities and customer network.
- Work with design and production teams to develop bespoke solutions.
- Provide post-sales technical support, including troubleshooting and performance optimisation.
- Manage customer projects from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftercare.
Requirements
- Familiarity with CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and process optimisation.
- Degree or HND in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or motorsport manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and strong understanding of machining strategies.
- Willingness to travel regularly across the UK and occasionally abroad.
