Role Overview

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will lead by example in quality and efficiency, support shift targets and keep warehouse operations productive. As an Operations Controller, you will help drive H&S standards, manage workflow, and support customer service excellence in a fast‑moving environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support shift manager to drive H&S standards.
  • Facilitate effective operational workflow.
  • Use WM systems (Fusion, SNAP) at super‑user level.
  • Plan weekly/daily resource and activity plans against forecasts.
  • Monitor operational progress against plans, ensuring high performance standards.
  • Implement cost‑saving initiatives.
  • Act on systems health check reports.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and provide feedback.
  • Develop the team through instruction.
  • Assist in achieving SLA.
  • Investigate and closeout NCRs and exceptions.
  • Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
  • Remove blockages to support GP/OWR performance.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Drive hygiene and maintenance improvements.
