Role Overview
If you’re passionate about sales and keen to play a part in our continued growth, we want you on board. As part of the Sales and Marketing team, you will be an ambitious sales professional motivated by meeting and exceeding sales targets. You will be comfortable with originating new business leads, and processing inbound enquiries in adopting a consultative SQL approach to new business conversion including providing essential administrative support to the Head of Business Development. Researching through market intelligence and targeted campaigns, you will prospect a range of pre-determined industries and vertical markets through pro-active outreach across forms of communication including email, social media, telephone, events and networking to gain client interest in our service. You will work to achieve a target that supports the new revenue goals of the business.

- The sales function has two primary outputs in the form of success criteria:
- Achieve revenue targets aligned to budget
- Generate margin contribution aligned to budget
Key Responsibilities
To achieve the primary outputs, you will undertake the following recurring duties:
- Build product knowledge to become a solutions specialist with a valued proposition
- Qualify inbound sales prospects and appointment setting where appropriate (SQL)
- Identify and maintain a ‘prospect pipeline’ sufficient to achieve your new business target and aligned to our target market.
- Adopt a consultative approach to understanding prospect needs with tailored pricing.
- Support the Head of Business Development with prospect tenders.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the form of sales database and reporting suite.
- Build and maintain a mix of short, medium and long-term opportunities to ensure a continuous injection of new trading revenue.
- Work closely with Fulfillment Operations and Customer Service to validate solutions and to ensure seamless customer onboarding
- Ensure that all new accounts are presented to the business using pre-defined business processes.
- Attend and support related events where applicable

- With a strong process driven administration background you will be confident, organised and most importantly enjoy dealing with people with a smile.
- Self-driven and able to function effectively without close supervision

Education and Experience
- Possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in working within a fast-paced sales environment.
- Ambitious and eager to progress in a front-line sale role
- Background in a similar sector
- Good telephone manner and confident in making and receiving calls.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
- Prior use of a sales based CRM. (HubSpot)
- Linked In - Sales Navigator
- Proficient with MS Suite inc Teams, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc.
