As a Retail Account Sales Executive for our Consumer Business Group you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will have the opportunity to work with some of our iconic brands, including Scotch, Post-it®, Scotch-Brite®, Filtrete®, Command®, Nexcare, Meguiar's®, and Futuro, responsible for driving sales within assigned customers and channels.
Responsibilities
- Managing a set of diverse customers in retail and online.
- Working closely with cross‑functional teams in Supply Chain, Analytics, and Marketing.
- Managing all sales forecasts and monthly goals as well as promotional and store execution budgets.
- Leading customer Joint Business Plans, line reviews and promotional strategies and all internal / external customer focused meetings.
- Developing annual strategic account plans (vision, strategy, key objectives, success metrics, financial forecasts).
- Presenting and reinforcing the 3M value proposition to differentiate 3M from competitive offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Previous experience in Field Sales or Inside Sales within a consumer‑focused business.
- Ability to use data to identify sales trends, understand customer behavior, and make informed recommendations on product placement and promotional strategies.
- Strong knowledge of 3M products and their applications to effectively educate and influence customers.
- Current, valid driver's license.
Additional Skills / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in leading national retail key account business.
- Demonstrated effective negotiation skills and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to convey product value, negotiate terms, and collaborate with retail partners and internal teams.
- Experience with Analytics and Supply Chain.
Working Conditions
- This role has an on‑site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Bracknell, Berkshire.
- Travel expectations: up to 15% domestic travel.
- Working pattern: full time.
- Remuneration details: £ high‑reaching dependent on skills and experience plus excellent benefits package.
