- Developing world‑class Self‑Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) using advanced materials, analysis, and validation.
- Collaborating with global colleagues to ensure product performance meets rigorous durability and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining effective communication with the project team, staff, and project owners.
Minimum Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in either Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
- Experienced in Mechanical Design/Development in a private, public, government or military environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in the design of plastic components (injection moulding) as well as the design of metal‑formed components (sheet metal and machined).
- Experience using 3D solid modelling tools (Inventor or equivalent) in conjunction with Design Analysis Tools (FEA, CFD & Moldflow).
- Experience with global teams involved with New Product Development.
Additional Details
- May include up to 10% travel, both domestic and international.
- Relocation is not authorized.
- This position is expected to work at the office. Full remote work is not an option.
