Multi Skilled Maintainer (m/f/x*)

As Multi Skilled Maintainer at the 3M Aycliffe site you will have the opportunity to put your curiosity to good use and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people in the world. Here's how to make an impact:
Provide reactive maintenance support for machine breakdowns
Engage in activities which support proactive maintenance through completion of planned maintenance tasks and jobs list actions
Proactive attitude by identifying areas for continuous improvement of machinery to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness and reduce waste
To fault find and establish root cause of failure in equipment with follow up improvement actions
Work safely at all times observing instructions, procedures, permits, safety systems and lock offs etc.
Ability to generate improvement ideas and engineering solutions
Good communication skills and collaborative working with other site support functions and colleagues for job handovers
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications/experience:
Time served electrical / mechanical maintenance apprenticeship
HNC electrical / mechanical engineering
Additional qualifications/experience that could help you succeed even further in this role include
History of working within manufacturing maintenance with injection moulding, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience working with PLC’s/Drives and robotics
Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
Experience in carrying out root cause analysis assessments
