The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Marketing Specialist for the Export team, you will play an important role in supporting the delivery of marketing programs and sales enablement activities across international export markets. This is a highly execution-focused role that helps turn marketing plans into action by coordinating key activities, supporting channel partners, and ensuring the right tools, information, and materials are in place to support customer engagement.

You will be part of a small but high-impact team, working closely with stakeholders across divisions, business groups, channel partners, and countries. This role is well suited to someone who is looking to build or further develop their marketing career in an international environment and who enjoys working collaboratively, staying close to the detail, and helping keep multiple activities moving forward.

Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Supporting the execution of activities aligned to the Export Markets marketing plan, including promotions and programs across channel and converter partners in a diverse range of markets.
  • Providing market insights and local analytics to support promotion optimization, program refinement, and account targeting.
  • Supporting 3M Representatives and Distributor Specialist Representatives by coordinating and distributing sales enablement materials, launch assets, and toolkits.
  • Assisting in the delivery of channel training programs, including managing invitations, coordinating calendars, liaising with speakers, and supporting follow-up activities.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for marketing-related customer mailbox enquiries, ensuring timely and professional responses.
  • Supporting portfolio availability across Export Markets, including product enquiries, restrictions, extensions, and listings in collaboration with operations teams.
  • Maintaining and updating online information relating to channel partners and converters across Export Markets.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Some relevant marketing experience, or a strong interest in transitioning into marketing with transferable skills and the aptitude to develop in the role.
  • Good understanding of core marketing principles and a willingness to build capability through hands-on experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across a range of teams and stakeholders.
  • A proactive and hands-on approach, with the willingness to take ownership of important coordination and execution tasks.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex international environment.
  • Good attention to detail and a disciplined approach to follow-up and execution.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Additional knowledge, skills, and qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Degree in Marketing or a related discipline or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in digital, international, channel, partner, or trade marketing.
  • Experience using marketing technologies or digital tools.
  • A strong learning mindset and motivation to build a longer-term career in marketing within 3M.

Job specifics:

  • Location Information - Based at either our HQ in Bracknell, UK or Kajetany, Poland.
  • Travel expectations - May include up to 10% domestic/international.
  • Working model - This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Bracknell/Poland.
  • Working pattern - full time.
