As a Credit Portfolio Risk Analyst located at our Bracknell HQ, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
- Supporting lead manager on customer credit analysis and risk rating of the portfolio.
- Monitoring and proactively managing risk/exposures and compliance with policies for credit risk portfolio.
- Supporting global team with credit data analysis to formulate practical portfolio problem solving model.
- Monitoring performance of AR credit quality and analysing AR performance, aging, trends, risk exposure and advising business leadership teams in actions to be taken.
- Supporting management reporting for KPI.
- Working in collaboration with the CIR organization to implement frameworks and global governance policies.
- Reviewing and approving requests related to credit limits or payment terms.
- Participating on cross functional teams to identify opportunities and support initiatives for process improvements, centralization, and standardization.
- Providing financial counsel and analysis on DSO initiatives to the business group leaders and team, influencing business thinking.
- Leading SAP readiness and deployment activities related to the Credit Risk.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Credit-related professional certification preferred.
- Significant experience in credit risk management.
- Prior experience in data analytics, data management, and/or risk and accounts receivable analysis.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, basic accounting practices, and financial principles, with the ability to assess and interpret the working capital impact of credit risk decisions.
- Demonstrated analytical reasoning skills, with the ability to communicate persuasively and assertively while remaining adaptable, collaborative, and solution-oriented.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in Credit and Collections preferred.
- Proficiency in SAP preferred.
Job specifics:
- Travel expectations - May include up to 5% domestic/international.
- This role has on-site working model, with the employee working at least four days a week in the office at Bracknell, Berkshire, UK.
