We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Forklift Drivers to join our clients busy and expanding international removals team based in Thurrock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a reputable and growing organisation that specialises in moving household and personal possessions across the globe.
About the Role
As a Removals Forklift Driver, you'll play a crucial role in the smooth running of warehouse operations. You'll be responsible for managing and maintaining all aspects of the warehouse facility and using forklift equipment to ensure an efficient and safe service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the checking in and out of goods with accuracy and attention to detail
- Move and unload storage containers (manual handling involved)
- Support HGV Drivers and Porters in handling and relocating customers' belongings
- Operate forklifts to load and unload goods safely and efficiently
- Complete all necessary paperwork to maintain accurate warehouse records
What We're Looking For:
- Valid Forklift Licence (Counterbalance and Reach essential)
- Previous experience in a removals, logistics or warehouse environment
- Good level of physical fitness - manual handling is a key part of this role
- Strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to support other departments when required
