Warehouse Order Picker – Chilled Environment Location: Redscar Industrial Estate, PR2 5BX Shift: Rota basis, Monday to Sunday, 4 shifts per week from 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Pay: Starting at £11.50 per hour Job Type: Temp to Perm Opportunity Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for seasonal work? We are hiring on behalf of our client in the Preston area, seeking motivated and reliable individuals to join their team. About the Role: As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be responsible for picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, helping meet daily targets. Additional tasks may include stock movement, quality checks, and general warehouse duties. You will be working in a chilled environment, at around 4 degrees celcius. Key Responsibilities: – Picking and packing orders with precision and speed – Supporting stock movement within and across departments – Conducting quality checks to uphold product standards – Maintaining a clean and organized workspace – Following health and safety guidelines Requirements: – Previous experience in a warehouse role (picking and packing experience required) – Strong attention to detail and accuracy – Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends, with availability from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm – Ability to work both independently and as part of a team What’s in It for You? – Competitive pay starting at £11.50 per hour, for the first 39 hours per week, with potential for overtime which is paid at £17.25 per hour for all hours above 39 hours. – Opportunity for ongoing work beyond December – Experience in various warehousing departments Locations: You’ll be based at Redscar Industrial Estate, Please ensure you have reliable commuting options to this locations.
