Ground Maintenance Operative

Job Vacancy: Grounds Maintenance Operatives (Gardener) The Council's Grounds Department is seeking multiple Grounds Maintenance Operatives to join our team and carry out gardening duties across various Housing contracts. Key Responsibilities: * Performing manual gardening tasks such as bending, lifting, planting bedding plants, and weeding. * Operating petrol-powered horticultural machinery. * Handling manual tasks and assisting with general grounds maintenance duties. * Driving light goods vehicles to transport tools and equipment to work sites. * Working outdoors in all weather conditions as part of a dedicated team. What We Are Looking For: * Reliable and trustworthy individuals with a strong work ethic. * Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and manage physical tasks. * Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions. * Full availability throughout the contract period. Contract Details: * The contract runs from 1st April to 30th September, with the possibility of early termination at the discretion of the employer.
