Job Description

We are looking for a Delivery operations coordinator to join our team in London.

This is a key operational role, responsible for ensuring that the right people are deployed on the right projects, maximizing both business performance and individual growth opportunities.

The role will report directly to the head of consulting and you will act as the bridge between leadership, BD, project teams and employees, balancing capacity planning and financial considerations.

You will manage staffing allocation end-to-end, monitor project profitability, and ensure timesheet compliance to enable accurate reporting and healthy project margins.

You will also drive internal projects and operational improvements, fostering efficiency and scalability across the organization.

This role is highly collaborative: you will work closely with project managers, finance, HR, and leadership teams to align resources with demand, anticipate upcoming needs, and drive utilization efficiency.

At the same time, youll be a trusted partner to employees, understanding their skills, aspirations, and development goals to help them grow while supporting business priorities.

  • What Youll Do
  • Oversee the allocation of people to projects, ensuring alignment between skills, availability, and business priorities.
  • Maintain a view of the staffing pipeline at both macro and micro levels with the different BD teams and updated relative software (overall business outlook as well as specific staffing needs).
  • Monitor project profitability and marginality, adjusting staffing as needed to support financial health.
  • Ensure accurate and timely timesheet completion, maintaining visibility on billable vs. non-billable work.
  • Collaborate with leadership to forecast resource demand, identify capacity gaps, and plan ahead for upcoming projects.
  • Manage and reduce bench time by proactively matching available talent to new opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with employees, supporting their career development through thoughtful staffing decisions.
  • Drive fairness, transparency, and diversity considerations in staffing processes and policies.
  • Report on utilization, staffing pipeline, and financial impact to leadership.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of staffing tools, processes, and systems.
  • Organize proactive meetings with the leadership team to discuss insights and areas of improvement.

Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years in operations, project coordination, resource management, staffing or workforce planning.
  • Solid understanding of financial drivers such as margins, billability, and utilization.
  • Experience with timesheet and staffing software and project reporting.
  • Advance knowledge of microsoft office package (PPT & Excel) and basic understanding of Gen AI prompts.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented, or consulting/tech environment is preferred
