ROLE DETAILS
- Collect and process work sent down from the repro/print department.
- Ensure that the work is sized correctly, and the appropriate correction curve is applied, QC to job requirements.
- Maintain and process work according to the production schedule.
- Notify the supervisor/manager when a major issue is encountered.
- Problem solve minor issues, to ensure that the work flows smoothly through the department.
- Operating Print Machines / Guillotines and Folders.
- Maintain the machinery to manufacturers recommendations.
- Keep work area and machinery clean and tidy.
- Select the correct media profile then rip the job to be printed (training will be given if needed).
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
- Thorough knowledge of print production practices and processes.
- Experience with Muller / Heidelberg.
- Operational experience with print.
- Demonstrable attention to detail.
- Reliable, trustworthy and conscientious.
- Flexible and effective team member.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Team player.
