We're looking for a curious and motivated intern to join our Sheffield R&D team for a hands-on summer internship in Quality Assurance. In this role, you will focus on testing and improving the SIMULIA Durability solver on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, working alongside developers and QA specialists from the early design stage through to release. Our on-site test suite, equipped with Windows and Linux machines, provides a real-world environment to refine your testing skills. This is a paid internship spanning 3 months, approximately from June to September 2026, based at the Dassault Systèmes office located in Sheffield.
Role description & Responsibilities
- Perform release testing on all Durability products, including executing existing test scripts, verifying results, logging defects and reporting status.
- Develop your own manual and automated test scripts to cover new functionality.
- Analyze team processes and identify opportunities for optimization using AI/ML tools and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- Strong interest in delivering robust, error-free software solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present technical information clearly to peers and management.
- Naturally curious and motivated to identify inefficiencies and find ways to improve performance and reliability.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing requirements and complex situations.
- Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
