3D Personnel are currently looking for a Logistics Manager for a construction project in Southampton.
Day‑to‑Day Duties
- Manage logistics operations on a large‑scale residential development of 2,500+ homes
- Oversee daily coordination of materials, deliveries, and site movements
- Ensure smooth workflow across all phases of construction
- Coordinate delivery schedules to support multiple work areas across the site
- Manage site access, traffic flow, and delivery routes to avoid congestion
- Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and site management teams
- Monitor and control material storage and distribution on site
- Maintain health & safety standards in all logistics operations
- Troubleshoot and resolve any logistical challenges impacting progress
- Keep records of deliveries, stock levels, and site logistics activity
Requirements
- Valid CSCS card
- SMSTS or SSSTS certification
- First Aid at Work (or equivalent)
- Previous experience in construction site logistics (ideally large‑scale residential)
