Shuttering Carpenter Required in Bristol
Long‑term temporary role £250‑£280 per day
Duties:
- Interpret blueprints, schematics and construction plans to determine the size and shape of formwork required.
- Cut, shape and fit timber to create formwork for columns, walls, beams and slabs, storing wood appropriately to avoid cracking.
- Check formwork for defects and make necessary repairs.
- Safely install and assemble timber formwork using hand and power tools, ensuring it is level, plumb and secure.
- Perform all required duties on site as instructed.
- Conduct work according to industry health & safety standards.
Requirements:
- An in‑date CSCS card (ideally blue).
- Valid ID or passport.
- Full PPE (hard hat, high‑visibility vest, safety boots).
- Hard‑working and driven.
- Experience of working on a construction site is needed to achieve the higher pay rate.
