3D Recruit are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to work in a primary school in St Leonards. The school are ideally looking for a teacher for 4 days a week, they will also consider 3 days. Year 6 is split into small groups in the mornings for Maths and English with 3 teachers teaching the groups. The afternoon they revert back to 2 classes. Most planning is already completed and available.

Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:

  • Teach all areas of the primary KS2 curriculum
  • Prepare teaching materials ahead of each lesson and teaching lessons
  • Organise and take part in school events, outings and activities
  • Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices
  • Organise the classroom, displays and resources

Requirements for a KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one
  • 2 Recent satisfactory references
  • Right to Work in the UK
