3D Recruit are currently recruiting for a Year 6 Teacher to work in a primary school in St Leonards. The school are ideally looking for a teacher for 4 days a week, they will also consider 3 days. Year 6 is split into small groups in the mornings for Maths and English with 3 teachers teaching the groups. The afternoon they revert back to 2 classes. Most planning is already completed and available.
Responsibilities of a KS2 Teacher:
- Teach all areas of the primary KS2 curriculum
- Prepare teaching materials ahead of each lesson and teaching lessons
- Organise and take part in school events, outings and activities
- Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices
- Organise the classroom, displays and resources
Requirements for a KS2 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status
- DBS on the Update Service or happy to apply for one
- 2 Recent satisfactory references
- Right to Work in the UK
