Abingdon – Senior Social Worker – Assessment Team – £42\\n\\nThe Children’s Assessment Service provides early, proactive support to children and families who may be in need or at risk without timely intervention. Our purpose is to complete thorough child and family assessments in partnership with families, ensuring they receive the right support at the right time. We work closely with multi-agency partners and have built strong collaborative relationships as part of Oxfordshire’s commitment to the Family Safeguarding Model.\\n\\nAs expected, the assessment team is a fast-paced environment offering extensive professional development opportunities.

Our social workers play a vital role in supporting families at one of the earliest points of contact with children’s services. We are proud to maintain an overall ‘Good’ OFSTED rating, and we continue striving toward delivering an Outstanding service for children and families.\\n\\nThis is a key safeguarding role, and our social workers are essential in ensuring a safe, respectful, and child-focused service. Applicants must be qualified social workers with current Social Work England registration and completion of the ASYE (or equivalent).
