Looking for a change? ever worked in SEN schools, love teaching but feel the bigger classrooms are too much and would prefer smaller settings… SEN classes have between 8-12 pupils. More intimate, supported by 2 TA\’s Role responsibilities * Teaching all allocated areas of the primary curriculum; (English, Maths, science, topic, Geography, history, DT, ASDAN, PHSE, Computing) * Planning, preparing and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class group * Maintain discipline within the classroom that is in line with the the schools Behaviour Policy * Motivate pupils enthusiastic, imaginative presentation, setting standard for lesson presentation Requirements * Hold Qualified Teacher Status * Successful teaching experience * SEN Experience and a focus on nurture – SEMH/ASD. * A good knowledge of the National Curriculum knowledge in more than one area * Excellent behaviour management skills * Reflective practitioner * A good understanding of therapeutic approaches to education * Ability to adapt teaching to meet pupils\’ needs * Proven ability to offer dynamic & engaging lessons How to apply: Please apply below or contact the office on (phone number removed).
