As a Chartered Structural Engineer, you will:
- Take full ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects, leading from design through to completion
- Manage graduate engineers and technicians
- Serve as the primary client contact
- Collaborate with contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants to deliver exceptional outcomes on time and within budget
Key responsibilities include:
- Project team coordination & resource management
- Site inspections & quality assurance
- Risk identification & mitigation
- Fee forecasting & project invoicing
Requirements:
- Chartered Structural Engineer status
- BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a similar environment
- Proven design experience across all common building materials to current codes
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Full current driving licence (or equivalent access to transport)
- Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy
- Experience using Masterseries software
