Key Responsibilities:

  • Project leadership with real autonomy
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of projects from design through to completion
  • Oversee graduate engineers and technicians
  • Serve as the primary client contact
  • Collaborate with contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants
  • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance
  • Identify and mitigate risks
  • Forecast fees and manage project invoicing

Requirements:

  • Chartered Structural Engineer status
  • BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a similar environment
  • Proven design experience across all common building materials to current codes
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
  • Full current driving licence (or equivalent access to transport)
  • Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy
  • Experience using Masterseries software
