Key Responsibilities:
- Project leadership with real autonomy
- Manage a diverse portfolio of projects from design through to completion
- Oversee graduate engineers and technicians
- Serve as the primary client contact
- Collaborate with contractors and multi-disciplinary consultants
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance
- Identify and mitigate risks
- Forecast fees and manage project invoicing
Requirements:
- Chartered Structural Engineer status
- BEng in Structural or Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum five years' post-graduate experience in a similar environment
- Proven design experience across all common building materials to current codes
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Full current driving licence (or equivalent access to transport)
- Previous experience at an engineering-based consultancy
- Experience using Masterseries software
