On behalf of my client, I am actively recruiting for a MEP Site Manager to work on an ongoing project in Central London. My Client is one of Northern Ireland's leading Fit Out companies working as Main Contractor, delivering an abundance of high-end projects across Ireland and the UK. Based in Head Office in Antrim, with the option to work on-site(s) within Central London.

Similar to a fit-out supervisor but more specialised/bias with MEP. The role requires knowledge of programme, monitoring, stages of install and sequence co-ordination with trades. Involvement in commissioning, temp testing, and pre-commissioning is essential, along with close out and consultant reports and formulating own progress and snagging reports.

Open to candidates in NI to travel fortnightly or candidates based in London.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Experience managing mechanical & electrical packages for schemes greater than £10m or 200 residential units plus.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and Procore.
  • Demonstrated commercial awareness and the ability to manage Subcontractors effectively.
Key Skills
  • Able to plan works, complete look aheads and ensure MEP materials/labour are in hand.
  • Input in MEP Subcontract packages and scopes of works to ensure all items have been included.
  • Experience in management of both Mechanical & Electrical packages.
  • Full design responsibility for mechanical & electrical works from stage 3 through to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and achieve targets.
  • Input in the daily briefings to ensure works are planned and co-ordinated between all parties.
  • Confident in leading & chairing meetings including writing effective meeting minutes for MEP works.
  • In-depth knowledge of all current building services regulations.
  • Detailed understanding of testing & commissioning process including interrogation of Subcontractor methodology & programme for commissioning.
  • Experience in dealing with Warranty provider, client Clerk of Works & Golden thread.
  • Confidence in dealing with client team.
  • Detailed understanding of H&S requirements (access, working at heights, PPE, permit systems).
  • SMSTS trained.
  • Ability to interrogate Contractor & subcontractor programmes.
  • Good understanding of site safety requirements.
