The Role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across site plant and equipment, ensuring compliance, accuracy of documentation and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Electrical maintenance, fault finding & repairs
  • Planned maintenance & inspections across plant and equipment
  • Support heavy plant, cranes & marine systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Work collaboratively across engineering teams
  • Provide out-of-hours/operational support when required

Requirements

  • 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
  • 3+ years’ maintenance experience
  • Ability to work in varied environments (heights/confined spaces)
  • Full driving licence

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: £41,257 + bonus (usually £3k+ PA)
  • Core Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, 37.5 hours per week
  • Floating hours: maximum 200 annual floating hours, with a 1.5x hourly rate after exhaustion
  • Overtime: Saturdays = hourly rate x 1.5; Sundays and Bank/Public Holidays = hourly rate x 2
  • 33 days leave (rising to 38)
  • 5% pension contribution (employee & employer)
