The Role
Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems across site plant and equipment, ensuring compliance, accuracy of documentation and delivery of planned and reactive maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical maintenance, fault finding & repairs
- Planned maintenance & inspections across plant and equipment
- Support heavy plant, cranes & marine systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Work collaboratively across engineering teams
- Provide out-of-hours/operational support when required
Requirements
- 18th Edition (or willingness to update)
- 3+ years’ maintenance experience
- Ability to work in varied environments (heights/confined spaces)
- Full driving licence
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £41,257 + bonus (usually £3k+ PA)
- Core Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm, 37.5 hours per week
- Floating hours: maximum 200 annual floating hours, with a 1.5x hourly rate after exhaustion
- Overtime: Saturdays = hourly rate x 1.5; Sundays and Bank/Public Holidays = hourly rate x 2
- 33 days leave (rising to 38)
- 5% pension contribution (employee & employer)
