Our client is a Northern Ireland-based engineering company, established in 2014 and recognised as an award-winning provider of innovative, technology-driven solutions across the power and water sectors. They specialise in designing and delivering bespoke, flexible systems that transform critical infrastructure for clients across the UK, Europe, and the United States. This is a technically sophisticated M&E engineering environment operating within high-growth markets. With continued expansion across engineering, automation/controls, project management, and digital delivery, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced BIM Engineer to strengthen their design capability.
Reporting to the Head of Design, this role will take ownership of detailed modelling and digital coordination for containerised and skid-based power systems. It is a design-led position focused on producing accurate, buildable BIM models that integrate structural elements, major equipment, electrical systems, and auxiliary services within constrained modular environments. This role combines hands-on BIM authoring with a strong appreciation for data, coordination, and digital delivery.
Key Responsibilities- BIM Authoring & Design

- Experience within power infrastructure, data centres, or industrial environments
- Familiarity with LV/MV equipment layouts
- Experience creating Revit families from existing CAD models
- Exposure to heat load or ventilation modelling
- Experience with ACC, Navisworks, or similar coordination tools
- Design-focused with a practical, solutions-driven mindset
- Confident making layout decisions and iterating designs
- Collaborative, with the ability to work across engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
- Strong interest in digital engineering and structured data (without being overly governance-heavy)
- Early finish every Friday (12pm)
- Life Assurance (3x salary)
- Private Medical (option to add family)
- 30 days annual leave
- Strong, supportive workplace culture
- Ongoing professional development and career progression
