Job Description: Production Manager Location: Lisburn, NI Salary: negotiable depending on experience On behalf of my client, I am actively recruiting for a Production Manager forward-thinking specialist manufacturing company producing high end quality joinery products for the commercial, hospitality and residential construction markets. The Production Manager will be expected to take on overall responsibility for the 40 operative production value streams within the organisation. The role shall deliver on the companys strategic targets of Safety, Quality, People, Delivery and Cost. The successful individual will have key proven attributes in capacity plan management, product throughput management and resource management within the manufacturing shop floor. Duties and responsibilities The successful candidate shall be able to demonstrate a proven track record of at least 3 years in: Controlling risk and delivering on a positive health & safety culture within a manufacturing environment Control and successful operation of a manufacturing scheduling plan to client delivery deadlines Successful management of multi cell processes including machine, assembly and finished products Effective communication skills with strong leadership in directing and motivating a production workforce Ability to use standard IT systems effectively such as Microsoft office and to comprehend manufacturing drawings and specification packages. Knowledge of implementing modern manufacturing process thinking within a quality management system Please note this role requires the candidate to be familiar with Northern Ireland, only candidates who have/are living and working in Northern Ireland will be considered. .
