Welfare Cleaner required for a construction project in Windsor. This is a long-term temporary role with a pay rate of £16.50/hr. Must have an in-date CSCS card.

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

  • Site cabins/Offices and reception areas
  • Canteen/kitchen facilities
  • Toilets
  • Corridors
  • Communal areas

Duties to include:

  • Emptying the bins, taking out the rubbish and recycling
  • Wiping down and sanitising surfaces
  • Cleaning, sanitising, and stocking restrooms/kitchen area
  • Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming the floors
  • Keeping all communal site toilets and washing facilities clean
  • Keeping drying room in a general state of cleanliness

Previous experience:

  • The ideal candidate will have experience of working on site in a similar role.
  • You should have a good understanding of cleaning products and their uses in relevant areas, plus you should have good knowledge and experience of cleaning materials and how to use equipment such as:
    • Mops
    • Brushes
    • Vacuum cleaners
  • You should be able to lift and move equipment and be able to work independently, emptying bins whilst also at times moving and disposing of larger waste items.
  • A degree of flexibility would be ideal as the role could see you working before the site is open, during site hours, or after the site has closed depending on gaining access to certain communal areas.

Experience:

  • Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • CSCS Card
  • If you don't have a CSCS card but have experience, please still apply as there could be the opportunity to just work in the communal areas that are prior to entering the live site cordon.

Requirements and experience levels:

  • Must be hard-working and driven
  • Valid ID/Passport
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis, and safety boots)
  • CSCS Card
