Location: Required in Dunmow

Role: Long term temporary role

Pay: £16.50/hr

Must have an in date CSCS card.

Responsibilities

  • Site cabins/Offices and reception areas
  • Canteen/kitchen facilities
  • Toilets
  • Corridors
  • Communal areas

Duties to include:

  • Emptying the bins, taking out the rubbish and recycling
  • Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces
  • Cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking restrooms/kitchen area
  • Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming the floors
  • Keeping all communal site toilets and washing facilities clean
  • Keeping drying room in general state of cleanness

Previous Experience

The ideal candidate will have experience of working on site in a similar role. You should have a good understanding of cleaning products and their uses in relevant areas, plus good knowledge and experience of cleaning materials and how to use equipment such as:

  • Mops
  • Brushes
  • Vacuum cleaners

You should be able to lift and move equipment, work independently, empty bins, and sometimes move and dispose of larger waste items. A degree of flexibility would be ideal, as the role could see you working before the site is open, during site hours, or after the site has closed, depending on gaining access to certain communal areas.

Experience

Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification

CSCS Card

If you don’t have a CSCS card but have experience, you may still apply as there could be the opportunity to just work in the communal areas prior to entering the live site.

  • Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
