Long term temporary role

£20 p/h

The day-to-day duties will consist of:

  • Operating the Forklift in a safe manner
  • Moving building materials around the site
  • Carrying out the unloading of deliveries both on site and next to the site compound
  • Supporting trades and subcontractors with lifts and the moving of their materials
  • Performing all required duties on site as instructed by the site management team
  • Operating the machine in accordance with site risk assessments and regularly checking and inspecting your allocated machine to ensure its reliability and good appearance
  • Co-operating and communicating with all trades, appointed banksperson and the allocated traffic Marshall on site
  • Conducting work according to industry health & safety standards

Requirements and experience levels:

  • Must be hard working and driven
  • Experience working on a Residential/Commercial construction project
  • Valid ID/Passport
  • Full PPE (Hard hat, hi-vis and safety boots)
  • CPCS or NPORS Card

To achieve the higher pay rate experience of working on a construction site is needed. The pay rate quoted for this role is PAYE Umbrella which will see additional deductions to your take home hourly rate. For certain job roles payment via CIS could also be a pay option, but please be aware that not all job roles are eligible to be paid CIS.
