Senior / Principal Recruitment Consultant - Construction Location Southampton, Ocean Village Salary Up to £40,000 + uncapped commission Sector Construction - White Collar Permanent & Contract Coverage South Coast, London and UK-wide 3D Personnel is looking to appoint an experienced Senior or Principal Recruitment Consultant to join our growing Construction recruitment team based in Ocean Village, Southampton. This is a great opportunity for an experienced recruiter who wants to take ownership of a strong white-collar Construction desk, working across both permanent and contract recruitment with a broad range of established clients throughout the South Coast, London and wider UK market. You will recruit across a variety of professional Construction roles, supporting Tier 1 Main Contractors, Design & Build Contractors, specialist subcontractors, developers and other leading businesses within the built environment. The Role This will be a full 360 recruitment role, giving you the freedom to develop your own client relationships and market while also benefiting from the considerable support and client network already established across the wider 3D Personnel business. You will be responsible for: Managing and developing a white-collar Construction recruitment desk Recruiting permanent and contract professionals across the Construction sector Developing relationships with new and existing clients Working with Tier 1 Main Contractors, Design & Build Contractors, subcontractors and developers Identifying new business opportunities across the South Coast, London and wider UK Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from business development and job qualification through to candidate sourcing, interview management, offers and placements Building long-term relationships with both clients and candidates Working alongside the wider 3D Personnel business to maximise existing relationships, house accounts and PSL opportunities Who We Are Looking For We are particularly interested in speaking with recruiters who have experience within: Construction Civil Engineering Infrastructure M&E / Building Services Engineering or other closely related technical recruitment markets You will ideally already be operating at Senior Consultant, Principal Consultant or equivalent level. A strong background in permanent recruitment and proven billing performance is highly desirable, while previous experience recruiting contract or freelance professionals would be a significant advantage. You should be commercially minded, comfortable developing your own client relationships and confident managing a recruitment desk with a high degree of autonomy.
