A leading design & build contractor with a strong presence in industrial, logistics, commercial and retail construction is looking to appoint a Planner to join its growing UK team. With a reputation for innovative solutions, sustainable delivery, and large-scale new builds, the company has become a trusted partner to blue-chip clients across the sector. As Planner, you will take responsibility for creating, managing, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring realistic timelines, resource planning and progress tracking using ASTA Powerproject. This is an exciting opportunity to support major new build schemes and help drive successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities * Develop detailed tender and contract programmes using ASTA Powerproject. * Monitor project progress, update programmes, and advise on corrective actions where necessary. * Work closely with project managers, design teams, and commercial teams to ensure programme alignment. * Analyse project data to identify risks, opportunities, and efficiencies. * Provide input on methodologies, sequencing, and resource planning for new build industrial, commercial and retail projects. * Attend client and project meetings, presenting programme information clearly and effectively. * Support tender submissions with robust planning input. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Planner within the construction sector. * Strong track record of working on new build industrial, retail, or commercial schemes. * Proficiency with ASTA Powerproject (essential). * Excellent analytical and organisational skills. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills — able to work with both site and client teams. * A detail-oriented professional who can balance multiple priorities and deadlines
