3D Personnel are currently looking for an Estimator / Billing Manager for a permanent position based in Paisley. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced reactive maintenance and refurbishment company operating within the social housing and private domestic sectors. The successful candidate will play a key role within the commercial and operations team, supporting the delivery of over 2,500 reactive repair and maintenance jobs per month.
The role is office-based in Paisley and requires strong commercial awareness, excellent organisational skills, and previous experience within estimating, billing, or social housing maintenance environments.
The day-to-day duties will consist of:
- Reviewing completed reactive maintenance and refurbishment jobs
- Managing the billing process and ensuring all completed works are invoiced accurately
- Analysing completed jobs against agreed Schedule of Rates (SoR)
- Ensuring labour, materials, and associated costs are commercially viable and profitable
- Preparing quotations for private domestic works including plumbing, heating, kitchens, bathrooms, boilers, and electrical works
- Maintaining and updating records using simPRO job management software
- Liaising with engineers, supervisors, managers, and clients regarding costs and completed works
- Attending customer meetings where required
- Managing weekly billing targets and ensuring deadlines are achieved
- Working closely with the wider operations and commercial teams to maintain service delivery standards
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Estimator, Billing, Commercial or Repairs Administration role
- Experience within reactive maintenance, social housing, construction, or domestic property services
- Knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SoR), including NHF/M3NHF, would be advantageous
- Experience using simPRO or similar job management systems preferred
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workload effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
