Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre Project | Blyth, Northumberland

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a key role overseeing electrical installations on a mission-critical facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage electrical installation works including HV/LV distribution, UPS and generators
- Oversee electrical subcontractors for quality, safety and programme
- Review drawings, technical submittals and method statements
- Coordinate electrical works with mechanical, CSA and commissioning teams
- Support energisation, commissioning and handover of electrical systems
- Mentor and support junior electrical engineers
- Report progress and resolve technical issues on site
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years' M&E contracting experience
- Data centre experience essential
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV, switchgear, UPS and standby generation
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Valid CSCS card or equivalent site safety training
