Site Engineer - Major Commercial Development Location: London Bridge, Central London Employment Type: Permanent Positions Available: Two Project Value: Approximately £100m Project Type: New-build office development Salary: Competitive salary and package The Role Two Site Engineers are required to support the technical delivery of a major £100m new-build office development in Central London . The successful candidates will provide engineering, setting-out and quality-control support from the early structural stages through to completion. They will work closely with the Site Managers, design consultants and subcontractors to ensure construction is delivered accurately and in accordance with the project information. Key Responsibilities Undertake setting out and surveying across the project. Establish, check and maintain site control. Verify line, level and dimensional accuracy. Review construction drawings and identify technical discrepancies. Coordinate technical matters with designers, consultants and subcontractors. Raise, monitor and close out RFIs. Complete inspections and maintain accurate QA documentation. Produce as-built surveys and construction records. Support temporary-works planning and coordination. Monitor subcontractor work against drawings and specifications. Assist with concrete, structural-frame, drainage and external-works packages. Ensure technical information is available ahead of construction activities. Support Site Managers and the wider project-delivery team. Promote safe working practices across all engineering activities. Candidate Requirements Relevant civil engineering, construction or related qualification. Previous Site Engineer experience with a recognised main contractor. Strong setting-out and surveying capabilities. Experience working on major new-build construction projects. Competent in the use of modern surveying equipment. Good understanding of drawings, specifications and QA procedures. Experience with structural frames, concrete, drainage or external works. Strong technical problem-solving and communication skills. CSCS qualification is required
