Role Outline: This is not a desk-based sales role. This is a front-facing, relationship-led commercial position within one of the North West's most respected 4-star hotel groups. We are seeking a polished, commercially driven Sales Executive to grow high-value corporate, leisure, events, and group business across two flagship 4-star properties. You will be the face of the brand in the market - trusted by clients, respected by peers, and accountable for real revenue impact. If you understand premium hospitality, know how to open doors, and thrive on building long-term partnerships, this role offers genuine scope and visibility.

The Opportunity

  • Drive new business across corporate, leisure, MICE, weddings, and high-end group segments
  • Build and manage a portfolio of key local, national, and international accounts
  • Position the hotels as leading 4-star destinations within the regional and tourism market
  • Represent the brand at networking events, trade shows, and industry showcases across Ireland and Europe
  • Work collaboratively with operations and marketing to deliver seamless, premium guest experiences

This is a field-based role with flexibility required, including evenings and weekends, reflecting the nature of high-end hospitality sales.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Proactively identifying and securing high-value commercial opportunities
  • Conducting professional sales calls, client meetings, and hosted site visits
  • Promoting bedrooms, suites, dining, private dining, meetings, conferences, weddings, and bespoke events
  • Negotiating rates and tailored packages aligned with brand positioning and revenue strategy
  • Maintaining a strong sales pipeline with accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Acting as a consistent, credible brand ambassador at all times

Who This Role Is For

You are likely already working in hospitality sales, tourism, or business development and are ready for a role with more autonomy, influence, and commercial ownership.

Essential experience

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in hospitality sales or tourism-related business development
  • Strong understanding of 4-star service standards and guest expectations
  • Proven ability to build relationships and close high-value business
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly professional appearance and approach
  • Full, clean driving licence

Highly desirable

  • Experience selling luxury hotels, premium venues, or high-end events
  • An established local or regional business network
  • Experience working across multi-site hospitality operations
  • CRM and sales reporting experience

What Sets You Apart

  • Commercially astute and results-focused
  • Confident, credible, and self-motivated
  • Strong relationship builder with a personalised sales approach
  • Comfortable working independently in a field-based role
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management

Why This Role?

  • Work with a respected 4-star hotel group with strong brand presence
  • High visibility role with direct access to senior decision-makers
  • Opportunity to shape commercial growth, not just service existing accounts
  • A professional, fast-paced environment where quality and results matter

If you know the local tourism and hospitality landscape and want a role where your relationships, reputation, and results genuinely count, this is a career-defining move.
