3D Personnel are currently looking on behalf of our client for an Estimator. We are seeking an experienced Aluminium Estimator to join a growing and dynamic team within the construction sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-driven professional with strong commercial awareness and proven experience pricing aluminium curtain walling, windows and door packages. The Role
You will be responsible for preparing accurate, competitive and commercially sound estimates for aluminium glazing and façade systems. Working closely with clients, contractors and internal teams, you will play a key role in securing new projects and supporting successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Review architectural drawings, specifications and tender documents to determine full project scope
- Accurately price aluminium windows, doors, curtain walling and associated façade systems
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labour, plant and subcontract works
- Compile professional and competitive tender submissions and supporting documentation
- Interpret and extract technical information from complex construction drawings
- Liaise with architects, main contractors, suppliers and internal teams to clarify requirements
- Identify risks, opportunities and value engineering options within tender submissions
- Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, project specifications and current construction regulations
- Attend pre-contract and handover meetings where required

- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural and technical drawings
- Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet tight deadlines
