Due to continued growth, here is an opportunity to join a growing business serving the global data centre market who are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join their leadership team. Reporting to the Finance Director, this newly created role will take ownership of financial reporting, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering across Manufacturing, Operations, Engineering and Commercial teams.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Lead monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
- Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, budgeting and forecasting.
- Partner with operational teams to drive cost performance and profitability.
- Oversee inventory accounting, standard costing and manufacturing analysis.
- Support project profitability reporting and investment appraisals.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
- Drive ERP, reporting and process improvement initiatives.
About You:
- Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
- Degree educated or equivalent relevant industry experience.
- Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role within a manufacturing, engineering or industrial environment.
- Experience managing finance teams.
- Strong knowledge of management accounting and statutory reporting (IFRS).
- Experience with inventory accounting and standard costing.
- Proven experience of external audit management.
- Experience using integrated ERP systems.
