Quality Lead (Mechanical) - Data Centre Project | Blyth, Northumberland

We are seeking an experienced Quality Lead (Mechanical) to join a leading data centre delivery team on a major new data centre project in Blyth, Northumberland. This is a key role leading mechanical quality assurance across the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead QA/QC for all mechanical installations across the project
- Develop and implement inspection and test plans (ITPs)
- Carry out inspections, audits and witness testing of mechanical works
- Manage non-conformances, corrective actions and close-out
- Review subcontractor quality documentation and turnover packages
- Work closely with mechanical, commissioning and client teams
- Maintain accurate quality records and reporting
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years' mechanical QA/QC experience
- Experience with HVAC, piping and mechanical services installations
- Data centre, pharma or mission-critical experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of ITPs, inspections and quality documentation
- Mechanical engineering qualification or relevant trade background
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills
