Help Shape the Clinical Future of 3D Aesthetics
3D Aesthetics is looking for an ambitious and experienced Registered Nurse with a strong interest in medical aesthetics to join us as our Clinical Development Manager.
This is a unique role combining hands‑on clinical practice with clinical development, governance, practitioner education, treatment protocol development and aesthetic technology.
The position offers an opportunity to progress beyond a traditional treatment‑based nursing role and play an important part in shaping clinical standards across our growing clinic group and the wider 3D Aesthetics business.
You will ordinarily spend:
- Three days per week across our clinics, supporting clinical development, governance, CQC preparation, practitioner development and patient care.
- Two days per week at our Rugby Head Office, developing advanced treatment protocols, clinical education, practitioner resources and clinically led content.
About 3D Aesthetics
3D Aesthetics is an established UK manufacturer and supplier of advanced non‑surgical aesthetic technology, working with clinics and practitioners nationwide.
We also operate our own 3D Aesthetics Clinics in Leamington Spa and Knowle, with a third clinic planned for Cheltenham.
As both sides of the business continue to grow, we are looking for a Registered Nurse who can act as an important link between real‑world clinical practice, practitioner education, clinical governance and aesthetic technology development.
The Role
Working closely with our Directors and Clinical, Compliance, Training and Marketing teams, you will help develop and maintain exceptional clinical standards across the business.
Clinical Practice & Governance
- Supporting our clinics through CQC preparation and ongoing compliance.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing clinical SOPs and treatment protocols.
- Supporting clinical governance, audits, risk management, infection prevention and control, safeguarding and patient safety.
- Reviewing and improving patient consultation, consent, treatment planning and aftercare processes.
- Ensuring clinical documentation and patient records meet appropriate professional and regulatory standards.
- Developing competency frameworks and consistent clinical standards across our clinic locations.
- Mentoring and supporting the clinical development of practitioners.
- Improving patient pathways, treatment outcomes and the overall clinical experience.
- Supporting the safe introduction of new treatments and technologies.
- Maintaining an active clinical presence, undertaking consultations and treatments where appropriate.
Clinical Development & Education
A significant part of this role will focus on developing the clinical depth of the wider 3D Aesthetics offering.
- Developing advanced treatment protocols across 3D Aesthetics technologies.
- Creating bespoke and combination treatment protocols using multiple technologies.
- Developing treatment pathways covering patient selection, consultation, treatment planning, delivery, expected outcomes and aftercare.
- Working alongside our Training team to enhance the clinical depth of practitioner education.
- Developing clinical education that goes beyond simply operating a device and focuses on achieving safe, effective and consistent treatment outcomes.
- Creating clinical resources including protocols, treatment guides, practitioner guidance, FAQs and best‑practice materials.
- Supporting the clinical development and introduction of new technologies.
- Contributing to clinical case studies, trials, white papers and documentation of patient outcomes.
- Delivering clinical education at workshops, masterclasses, Open Days and industry events.
Clinical Content & Brand Development
Working closely with our Marketing team, you will translate clinical expertise into credible and engaging educational content.
This may include:
- Developing clinically led educational content for practitioners and clinics.
- Supporting filming days, educational videos, webinars and social content.
- Providing clinical commentary around technologies, treatments and industry developments.
- Developing treatment and condition‑focused educational content.
- Helping further establish 3D Aesthetics as a trusted source of clinical education within the aesthetics industry.
Treatments & Technologies
Depending on your existing experience and training, you may work with technologies and treatments including:
- Laser hair and tattoo removal
- RF microneedling
- HIFU
- Advanced skin rejuvenation
- Body contouring and fat reduction
- HydrO2 Facial
- LED light therapy
- Combination treatment programmes
- Other advanced energy‑based aesthetic technologies
Full manufacturer‑led training and a structured induction will be provided where required before treatments are undertaken independently.
Who We’re Looking For
We are specifically looking for a Registered Nurse who wants to combine patient care with clinical development, education and leadership.
The successful candidate will ideally already have experience within aesthetics, dermatology, skin health or a related clinical environment, with a genuine interest in aesthetic technologies and treatment development.
- Qualified Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Appropriate nursing qualifications and evidence of continued professional development.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance and patient safety.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of consultation, treatment planning and patient pathways.
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
- Strong written communication and clinical documentation skills.
- Confidence working independently and taking ownership of clinical projects.
- Ability to work collaboratively across clinical and non‑clinical departments.
- Flexibility to work across our clinic locations and Rugby Head Office.
- A genuine interest in medical aesthetics, skin health and aesthetic technology.
- Previous experience working within medical aesthetics.
- Laser and Light qualification.
- Experience with laser, RF, HIFU or other energy‑based aesthetic technologies.
- Experience of CQC requirements and clinical governance.
- Experience developing SOPs, clinical protocols or clinical documentation.
- Experience mentoring, educating or training other practitioners.
- Confidence presenting clinical information to groups or on camera.
- Experience contributing to clinical trials, case studies or research.
You do not need to meet every desirable criterion. We are interested in finding the right Registered Nurse with strong clinical foundations, ambition and the potential to develop with the business.
